Facilities 

Our facilities include the following:

  • Free use of our boat

  • Bait available

  • Tackle shop

  • Fridge & Microwave

  • Toilet, shower and changing area (heated when necessary)

  • BBQ – There is sometimes a BBQ on Saturday night for our guests, let us know if you want one.

  • Camp fire whenever you fancy one

  • Swimming pool

  • We have our own Bar & Restaurant on site (see elsewhere for food deals)

  • If you want a change from fishing we also have space to play petanque and we have cards, crib boards, chess sets and a pool table in the bar.
     

  • Book and DVD Library
    We have an extensive angling library including many valuable fist editions and a small angling DVD library.

  And if you want a break from the fishing.......

Anglers with limited mobility

We welcome disabled anglers and those with limited mobility. Please speak to us about your specific requirements.

It may help you to know that the dam end of the lake Is flat and easily accessible. A car or wheelchair can get direct access to the double swim here and the water is only 18" to 24" below the bank (depending on summer water levels). There is then a gentle slope from the lake to the car park, restaurant and bar.

We also have one of our cottages and a B&B room at ground level. Our only concern here is that a wheelchair is unlikely to be able to go from the living area of the cottage to the bathroom and bedroom area.
 
Angling Courses

Steve will be happy to teach 'watercraft',' basic angling skills',' basic and intermediate rigs' and 'care of fish sessions' to beginners and intermediate individuals and groups. However these would need to be arranged in advance.
